KAELEY DOYLE, LPC I Licensed Professional Counselor

While Kaeley has always had a passion for psychology, it wasn’t until she was well-established in her digital advertising sales career that she decided to do something about it. In seeing the vast effects mental health has on people, and how powerful therapy can be in changing people’s lives, Kaeley decided to make her passion a career. Her clinical experience, both working with children, adolescents, and adults in Title 1 Chicago schools and after-school programs, as well as seeing individuals, couples and families in a private practice setting, Kaeley has assisted clients with anxiety, relationship concerns, depression, life transitions, trauma, and various other issues.

Kaeley believes that developing a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust and honesty is the most important aspect of the counseling process. Both by genuinely listening to her clients, as well as validating their perspective, Kaeley believes her ability to connect with others is perhaps her strongest asset as a counselor. By using a combination of person-centered, cognitive behavioral, attachment-based, and Jungian approaches, Kaeley assists her clients in shifting their focus to what they can control and changing their negative thoughts to positive.

“I’ve learned that once clients begin to not only love, but also provide compassion for, themselves, it is then they can bring about positive transformation to their thought processes and reactions and lead a more peaceful and fulfilling life. By providing a non-judgmental environment, I help my clients process their emotions and events, so they can gain the necessary insight and reach their personal goals. The interventions I use in session are things I have done myself and truly believe in!”

Kaeley feels that skill development in counseling is also essential. Not only by building on her client’s current strengths, but also learning new skills that fit their needs. Kaeley utilizes her time with clients using variety of interventions and techniques to help them manage life’s struggles more easily and effectively. Her end counseling result is to assist her clients in their abilities to accept, trust, and love themselves. Kaeley believes that implementing healthy coping skills, such a positive self-talk and self-care, as well as her encouragement and support, is when true change occurs for her clients.  Kaeley is also passionate in assisting her clients process their past traumas. She utilizes a variety of techniques, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), to assist clients free themselves from their trauma.
