“Over the years I have developed a more holistic approach to treatment looking at all aspects of a person’s life including physical, mental, environmental, vocational and avocational, to help maximize potential in order to reach goals.”
Terese believes the most important part of a therapeutic relationship is to provide her clients with a safe space, and accepting and respecting them where they are without judgment or evaluation. She focuses on the unique qualities of each individual client, and uses a person-centered/eclectic approach to treatment planning. Her gentle, caring, resourceful and sometimes humorous approach provides her clients with connection, openness, validation and change. While her current interests lie in the area of depressive and anxiety disorders, as well as career change/discovery, she is happy to work with any motivated client.
